Do Work That
Actually Matters.

OPTA is building the infrastructure that keeps seniors independent and patients connected to care. Every driver, every health worker, every responder on our team is part of something that makes a measurable difference in real people's lives — every single day.

Our Mission

Because Missing an Appointment Isn't an Option.

OPTA exists to remove the barriers that stand between vulnerable people and the care they need. We believe that transportation, safety support, and health navigation are not luxuries — they are the foundation of equitable healthcare access.

Our mission is to deliver integrated care mobility services with the professionalism of a healthcare partner and the warmth of a neighbor. One call. One team. Every time.

What We Believe

  • Every person deserves reliable access to medical care, regardless of income or mobility.
  • The people who show up for vulnerable patients deserve respect, fair pay, and a team that has their back.
  • Healthcare logistics done right is healthcare done right.
  • Small moments of dignity — a warm greeting, a door held open, a calm voice — compound into trust.

Our Ethics & Values

How We Show Up

These aren't posters on a wall. They're the standards we hold ourselves to — in every trip, every visit, every response.

Dignity First

Every patient, every senior, every family deserves to be treated with respect and warmth — not just efficiency. We never rush a patient who needs a moment.

Accountability

We show up. We communicate. We own our mistakes and fix them fast. Our patients depend on us, and we take that seriously every single day.

Excellence in the Ordinary

A clean van, a warm greeting, a door held open — the small things are the big things. We train for excellence in every interaction, not just the visible ones.

Community Over Transaction

We're not a ride-hailing app. We're neighbors helping neighbors. Our team members often become trusted faces in the lives of the people we serve.

Safety Without Compromise

We never cut corners on safety. Not on vehicle maintenance, not on lift technique, not on background checks. Safety is the floor, not the ceiling.

Continuous Improvement

We ask for feedback, we listen, and we act on it. Every team member is encouraged to surface better ways of doing things — regardless of their role.

OPTA Transit

NEMT Driver

The face of OPTA for every patient we serve.

Full-Time / Part-Time

$22–$28/hr

NEMT Drivers are the heart of OPTA Transit. You transport patients — many of them seniors or individuals with mobility challenges — to and from medical appointments, dialysis centers, cancer treatment facilities, and more. This is not a standard rideshare role. You are often the most consistent, trusted person in a patient's week.

OPTA Health

Community Health Worker (CHW)

The bridge between discharge and recovery.

Full-Time

$26–$34/hr

CHWs are OPTA's post-discharge support specialists. You visit patients in their homes within 48–72 hours of leaving a hospital or skilled nursing facility, checking in on medication adherence, care plan follow-through, and social needs. You are not a nurse — but you are the eyes and ears that prevent a readmission. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are strongly encouraged to apply.

OPTA SafeLift

SafeLift Responder

Calm, professional response when it matters most.

Full-Time / On-Call

$24–$32/hr

SafeLift Responders are trained 2-person teams who respond to non-emergency falls and lift assists at partner facilities and private residences. When a senior falls and isn't injured, they shouldn't have to wait for an ambulance — and your staff shouldn't have to risk injury attempting a lift alone. You are the professional, calm alternative to a 911 call.

OPTA HomeSafe

HomeSafe Assessor

Making home the safest place to be.

Full-Time / Contract

$28–$38/hr

HomeSafe Assessors conduct in-home safety evaluations for seniors and individuals with mobility challenges. You walk through the home, identify fall risks and accessibility barriers, and produce a detailed report with prioritized recommendations — from grab bar placement to lighting improvements to floor hazard removal. Your work directly prevents falls before they happen.

Operations

Dispatcher

The nerve center of everything OPTA moves.

Full-Time

$28–$36/hr

Dispatchers are the operational backbone of OPTA. You coordinate NEMT trips and SafeLift responses in real time, managing driver assignments, patient communications, and exception handling simultaneously. This is a fast-paced, high-stakes role — when a patient's ride is late or a SafeLift call comes in, you are the person who makes it right.

Administration

Administrative Coordinator

The organizational engine behind every OPTA operation.

Full-Time

$24–$32/hr

Administrative Coordinators keep OPTA running smoothly behind the scenes. You manage scheduling, documentation, facility communications, billing coordination, and team support across multiple service lines. You are the person who catches what others miss and ensures that nothing falls through the cracks in a fast-moving healthcare services environment.
